Less than 100 - The General - 1926

Buster Keaton's a genius. This is real cinema, not just a static camera imitating a theatrical drama.  Everything is alive with movement, whimsy, and the possibilities of editing and real-world special effects are endless to the creators.  My children were oddly engrossed.  It's the language of cinema.  I kid you not.  It'll be great to see more movies by Keaton.  What would you film with a camera?  Trains and people running of course!  It's all too beautiful, and even hilarious.
